Delete your LegitChat account

This is the account deletion page for LegitChat, developed by LegitChat LLC.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open LegitChat and tap the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, below Log Out.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Tap Delete Permanently to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the following.

• Your account information (email, username, display name, bio, and profile photo)
• Your connections
• Your messages and media

What is retained

• Your username is permanently retired and never reissued to anyone.
• Reports of Terms violations are kept in anonymized form so we can detect repeat offenders.

If you cannot open the app

Email admin@legitchat.io from the email address on your account and request deletion. We respond within 30 days.
